Stephen W. Workman

/bio

Born in 1972, raised in Colorado and Utah, Stephen has lived in New York City since 2001.  These paintings and drawings reflect his life here and there. The landscapes are reminiscent of the southwest and sometimes they meet an urban environment. Some are from memory.  Some are just imagined. Some are based on photographs; abstracted, and with a detail to line, shape and movement.

He received a BFA in Painting from the University of Utah in 1995.  His work is currently on display at The Bean Cafe in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.

Stephen resides in the East Village of Manhattan with his husband, Philip Treviño and their dachshund, Nico.
